Instead of giving the mooncakes some "colour", I was inspired by a bakery shop near my working place and created some cupcakes...

Library Workshop in Jul/Aug 2011

I was overjoyed when I learnt from Cindy's blog that the miniature workshop conducted by BearFruit Workshop was featured in Oct Issue of GoLibrary...

Cindy was our mentor for the 4 part creative workshops on food miniatures. She is a wonderful mentor who is not only patience, cheerful, willing to share her experiences and skills, but also encourges all of us to use our creativity to come up with our own style...I'm really inspired by her !

In between creating food miniatures, I also made cards in sizes of 3.5" x 3.5" and 4.25" x 6"...

My eldest son saw this new creation and requested to be given to him as he would like to give it to his friend as a birthday gift...Hmm...save his pocket $$ uh ? hahaha :)

It has been weeks since we celebrated Mooncake Festival here.. experiment to create related items (lantern, mooncake, pomelo) and here they are, raw and unpainted yet ... hopefully I can spend sometime over next weekend to complete them :)

After 2 years... I restart my blog again with a new look.

I am into this new craft => create food miniature items with air-dry clay. I've learnt this craft from "Bear Fruit Academy : Miniatures Creation Workshop" organised by National Library Board Singapore.

I enjoy the process of creating such craft and I’m amazed with what could be sculpted from the air-dry clay.

Listed below some of the food items I've experiment with air-dry clay and I would certainly continue to explore into the world of miniatures :)

Lost ??

Surprised ! Shocked ! when boss told us she has resigned... for that moment, my mind went blank. Even though a few of us did speculate on her resignation but didn't expect to come so soon....Am kind of lost and not sure how I should proceed from here...she has been with us for 7 years and now, she decided to move on.

Perhaps, she has made the right choice...the formation of the new company has caused more politics at her level...

When LW asked me this evening if I'm still at a daze, I told her I've started to re-organise myself to prep for a "New Start" again......

Hope tomorrow is better....
